This course proposes fundamentals of French and French culture through a progressive acquisition of basic communication skills and an understanding of the practices and products of French language and Francophone cultures. This course is open only to students who have a limited background in French. The French Placement test is mandatory in order to enroll. Three hours a week plus lab or online. NOTE: Students may not reverse the sequence of any courses taken from French 1010 to French 2420, with the exception of French 2090.
