This course provides an overview of setting up and managing a small business, covering topics that include an overview of entrepreneurship, starting a new business, uncovering business opportunities, managing the challenges faced by entrepreneurs, and exploring entrepreneurship business models. The course benefits from guest speakers from the local community of small-business owners and culminates in the building of a formal business plan of the student's choosing.
