This course is an introduction to quantitative students with a solid foundation for the continued study of research and nursing scholarship. Students will develop an understanding of and appreciation for all phases of the research process, with an emphasis on the novice professional's role as an informed consumer of research. Students will develop skills in critiquing published studies and in making judgements about the usefulness of research for nursing practice.
