Anatomy and Physiology I introduces students to the study of human anatomy. There is a strong focus on organ systems commonly imaged in radiography. The use of proper medical terminology while describing the location of anatomical structure is emphasized

This course begins with an introduction to the organizational levels within the body with attention on the tissue level of organization. The majority of QEH 201 is spent in detailed study of the skeletal system. The digestive system is also covered.

QEH 201 is mostly lecture-based and there is a considerable time spent on the identification of structures on images (diagrams and radiographs).
