This course extends the history and discussion of ethics begun in Philosophy 3030. This course explores the meaning of moral concepts. Is morality real or not? Are our moral utterances cognitive or non-cognitive? If morality is natural, in what sense? Is morality relativistic, universal, objective, subjective, instrumental, intrinsic, or a fiction?
