This course is a continuation of Radiographic Technique Part 1. Students learn the proper patient positioning, part position, central ray orientation, collimation, radiation protection, and image receptor placement required in order to demonstrate a number of different body structures including shoulder girdle and humerus, pelvic girdle and femur, vertebral column, bony thorax, , and abdomen.
Students also learn image analysis and critique. Instruction includes a didactic classroom component as well as clinical practice. There is also a portion of each week spent performing image analysis and critique.
