This elective modular course builds on fundamental concepts of small animal medicine covered in the core curriculum. The course will delve more deeply into clinical assessment and management of respiratory diseases of dogs and cats as well as common infectious diseases endemic to North America. In addition, emerging and re-emerging infectious diseases of global importance will be highlighted. Students will develop an increased understanding of the clinical signs, diagnosis and treatment of the diseases presented. Five-week module with 3 hours of lecture per wee. 08-02-2021-12-03-2021
