This rotation focuses on development of knowledge and skills needed to deliver reproductive services in small animal practice. Students will participate in case-based discussions on breeding management, breeding soundness exams, abortion, elective C-section timing, contraception, and advanced reproductive technology. Opportunities will be provided to gain technical skills in ultrasound pregnancy diagnosis, semen collection and freezing, and transcervical insemination. Fourth year standing in the DVM program.
