2021F Radiographic Technique III (RAD-3210-1)

This final course in Radiographic Technique focuses on advanced procedures including cranium, contrast media studies, mammography, sterile/aseptic technique, and interventional procedures. Advanced image analysis considerations for chest and abdominal imaging will also be covered with an emphasis on the placement of supportive tubes/lines.
Students will discuss the indications and contraindications for various contrast media procedures .Students will study the various projections required for each procedure and any modifications or special circumstances. There will be an emphasis on patient care considerations for all procedures.
