This course examines the evolution of American foreign policy from World War I through the end of the Cold War. Topics include the interwar years, the origins of World War II, post- war American hegemony, the Cold War, the New World Order, and political, economic, and cultural interaction between the United States and other countries and peoples. Seminar: Three hours a week.
