This is a course for students who seek a well-supported, strongly integrated adjustment to life and learning within the university environment. This course is designed to create a cohesive learning community for students, connecting them to each other and to their instructors in the classroom and beyond. The curriculum focuses on helping students to develop the attitudes, study strategies, and broad communication and research skills they will need to thrive throughout their post-secondary experience. Note: Credit will only be granted for one (1) of the UPEI First Year Experience courses (UPEI-1010/ENG-1010, UPEI-1020 OR UPEI-1030). In exceptional circumstances, permission to receive credit for more than one of these courses may be permitted by the Dean.
