The provision of clinical supervision is one of the most important aspects of training in psychology and is one of the core competencies associated with being a clinical psychologist. In this course students are exposed to the current state of the art of clinical supervision. Various models of supervision are reviewed and students gain experience by offering clinical peer supervision to graduate students in earlier years of the doctoral program. The course also provides students with opportunities to engage in the teaching of clinically-relevant material to undergraduate and early graduate students using a variety of pedagogical approaches and techniques.
