This course is a detailed study of the physiology, pathophysiology, diagnosis, and management of gastrointestinal, hepatobiliary, pancreatic and infectious disorders of companion animals. Issues in nutritional management of disease are included. Areas of current interest or controversy, as well as recent advances in knowledge and management are emphasized. Requirements for the course include critical evaluation of current literature and presentation of seminars on selected topics. HOURS OF CREDIT: 2. LECTURES: 2 hours.
