This course is an introduction to the basic principles of communication. The course balances communication theory and research with skills acquisition and practice to help students communicate more effectively in a variety of professional settings. Students are provided with an opportunity to develop skills in interpersonal and group communication, public speaking, and interviewing. (Cross-listed with Kinesiology 3610).
