In a flipped classroom learners engage with lectures or other materials outside of class to prepare for an active learning experience in the classroom. Flipping some lessons can add some variety and a change of pace and create more interest for both the learners and the instructor. This workshop will introduce you to flipped instruction tools and techniques that can aid in creating a more active and engaging learning environment.
Through participation in this learning space, you will be able to:
- Conceptualize how a flipped lesson could be structured.
- Create a flipped lesson that includes online content, in-class activities, and a student assessment plan.
