This course provides students with an understanding of the chemical and biochemical basis of toxicology. The principles of toxicology are the general focus of the course, but system specific aspects are covered with an emphasis on mechanisms of toxicity. The course includes lectures, seminars and student presentations. HOURS OF CREDIT: 3. LECTURE: 1.5 hours. TUTORIAL: 1.5 hours.
