This course provides an introduction to the causes of a variety of natural hazards (tectonic - e.g. earthquakes, tsunamis, and volcanic activity; meteorological - e.g. hurricanes and flooding; and mass movement - e.g. landslides, mudslides, and avalanches) as well as their impact on human activities and the strategies available to predict and manage such events. 04-09-2024-04-12-2024 Lecture Wednesday 07:00PM - 09:50PM, SDU Main Bldg, Room 213
