This course is a detailed study of the physiology and pathophysiology of the gastrointestinal, neurological, musculoskeletal, and endocrine systems of large animal species. Clinical application of physiologic and pathophysiologic principles is emphasized. The course will meet for one contact hour per week over the fall, winter, and first summer semesters, and will involve a mix of instructor and student-directed discussions. Considerable out-of-class preparation is required. HOURS OF CREDIT: 3 LAB/SEMINAR: 1 hour of lecture/seminar per week Restriction: DVM or equivalent.
