This course explores how children and youth are challenging conventional norms and envisioning new futures amid turbulent socio-political and environmental shifts. Drawing on insights from child and youth studies as well as scholarship in social and environmental justice, the course revisits the historical notion of the "wild" child to examine how contemporary "rebel kids" are transforming precarious conditions into opportunities for creativity, social change, and a more just world. 12-01-2026-13-04-2026 Lecture Monday, Wednesday 04:00PM - 05:15PM, Health Sciences Bldg, Room 104
